Is grief affecting your work capacity?
Grief is unpredictable. At work, you might become reactive, shut down, forget meeting outcomes, or make decisions as you used to.
These are normal biological responses that can be managed.
I come alongside you as your confidential executive coach to help you regain work capacity to protect your work and leadership as you walk through grief.
What is the Nature of Your Grief?
Normal Grief
This is the sadness and vacuum you are feeling because you lost someone you loved.
You may be experiencing emotional, cognitive, and physical reactions like unusual tiredness and withdrawal.
Traumatic Grief
This is the pain and grief you are experiencing because you lost someone you love suddenly, violently, or unexpectedly.
You may be experiencing everything in "normal grief" with PTSD symptoms like difficulty sleeping, nightmares, and anger.
Ambivalent Grief
This is the pain and sadness that you are feeling because the person who is gone might have been abusive or in high-conflict with you.
You may be experiencing everything in "traumatic grief" as well as a lack of trust and confusion.

The Leadership Cost of Sustained High-Stakes Pressure
Your work does not pause for grief, loss, or personal upheaval. You are still making the decisions. You are still protecting your people. But you can sense that your biological cost is mounting.
-
Cognitive Friction: Decisions that used to be intuitive now feel heavy and labored.
-
The Energy Shift: You are "showing up," but your presence feels rigid or brittle.
-
Survival Mode: Your nervous system is prioritizing survival over strategy—a predictable biological response, not a personal decline.
When the stakes are this high, "powering through" is a liability.
